Don't Forget the Bard! is Now Available on Kindle February 27, 2017
Don't Forget the Bard! was originally released as a free online game on Newgrounds.com in 2016. It was modified, rewritten, and released on Amazon Kindle on February 26, 2017. Don't Forget the Bard! is mature interactive-fiction for adults and is rated 17 and up due to mild language and sexual situations. You can get the e-book on Amazon here.
The game is written in second person and follows a bard that has been relieved of his royal duties after the fall of his previous lord. Your goal is to secure employment, but your quest leads you in search of lore, love, treasure, and in some cases – your sense of purpose.
There are dozens of choices, many endings, humor, satire, danger, and a fantasy world that challenges you at every turn. Don't Forget the Bard! is available on Kindle for $2.99. If you'd like a free copy of the book, please sign up for the Hotdogtopus Newsletter and specify your preferred format – pdf, html, mobi, epub, etc.
Besides that, I know I have not had an update in a while. Honestly, I'm feeling very burnt out and unmotivated – a recipe for do-nothing disaster! Newgrounds' Pico Day is coming up in April. I went out and bought some materials to make a diorama out of clay – that's my thing, you know? I'm second guessing it at this point and I'm not sure whether I'll scrap it this early. My original idea was to make a movie about Newgrounds' history, but I've since discovered their wikia and now I'm not sure how useful it would be.
I just finished doing some minor HTML improvements for the site that I noticed in Google Webmaster Tools. I just need to upload them! Do you guys have any good news? If so – share it!Click here to get Don't Forget the Bard! on Kindle.
Sea Fare Pacific Soup Reviews February 7, 2017
It looks like I am behind on my blog posts. I recently got a shipment from iherb and ordered three soups from Sea Fare Pacific. The clam chowder wasn't available, but I did try the cioppino, the salmon chowder, and the salmon bisque. You can click here to see my review for all three soups.Click here to see the reviews for all three soups.
